Your future ecosystem
You will be part of a small team of highly experienced developers with a lot of know-how about our (control and measurement) horticultural domain. This team is the heart of our operation due to the fact that they develop and maintain the software that runs all the hardware locally in the greenhouses. Most of the software Priva develops internally is built on top of the control and measurement functionalities.

How you add value
Passion. Help us to improve our control application. You don’t mind working with proven techniques, some of which were developed specifically for Priva. You add value by deep diving into the current code, to read and understand what it does, before actually coding.

Together we translate requests coming from our horticultural customers and internal organization into products and software design. With your knowledge of measurement and control technology, you understand the technical functioning of underlying installations and use them with a view to stability and functionality.

You implement software changes and ensure documentation, testing, and quality management and there is room, and the need to further modernize our development environment.

Who you are
A developer who knows their way around C, XML, or Python and is challenged by a long-lasting code base. Furthermore, we would like to find the following in your resumé:

• Relevant experience in control technology or installation control;
• Affinity with and knowledge of industrial automation preferred in the horticulture sector;
• Due to a partly Dutch code base: good understanding of the Dutch language.

In numbers:

• A gross salary based on your experience in the range of € 3.000,- and € 5.000,- based on 40 hours a week;

• Travel allowance of € 0,21/km with a daily maximum of 150 kilometers or fully reimbursed public transport costs;
